what do you wanna know?

honestly, tumblr is becoming kind of a glorified bookmark folder slash wishlist for me, and i like it.

likes: photos that lead me from your eyes to my mind, a good mindfuck, a fit of giggles, a hot cup of tea, that old book smell, the ordinary and the extraordinary

dislikes: not getting my way, being told what to do, people who hold grudges

This is fish oil. I just spent the entire day researching Omega-3 fatty acids and their effect on mood and overall mental health instead of listening to podcasts for a class I never go to (ironically, Cognitive Science 1).
This product has the highest concentration of the supplements I can find of the Omega-3 fatty acids that research has shown to improve mood and cognitive functioning (DHA and EPA). So, I’m going to try it. It’s either this or 5 ounces of lox per day. I’ll keep you posted.

The last time I sat on this table was probably three maybe four months ago. So much has changed in such a short period of time. Nothing is the same as it was then. Except maybe this table.

Dear Bry,

I fucking love you, bitch. That is all.

Love,

Rachel

this is a rough translation

Mom:
you know on that show? glee? they're all great singers and stuff, but I think that gay boy is the most impressive
Me:
oh, really?
Mom:
yeah, he gave up that solo for his dad and everything. but you know, in real life, gay boys are bitches.
Me:
uhh...
Mom:
this boy came into my store and he told me to call him bitch. he said, if you're not gonna call me beyonce then call me bitch. so i did.
Me:
mom, you know i love the gays
Mom:
well, you're unique.

The shitty thing about "effect" is that it can be both, but only in a certain situation.

thedormouse:

It had an effect on me.

It affected me.

It effected a response from me.

Grr.

I affected a pleasant mood even though I had just stepped in shit.

“affect” is a whole other story as well.

Organ Donation - Be a hero after death

i’m assuming the guy on the ground is the organ donor? or is he the organ receiver? anyway, i’m not a huge proponent of social marketing pieces that rely solely on the shock and awe tactic.
